The graphic expression of the porcelain is built around a simple origami figure that is combined in many different ways, with some parts of the decoration consisting of the molecular structure of the chemical formula of Oxytocin, also known as the happiness hormone. For the designer, this was a source of inspiration for the table setting and for the good conversations around meals. In addition to love and well-being, Simen Staalnacke wanted to create beautiful tableware that looks good on the table, creates a festive feeling and is stylish and playful at the same time. This creates an exceptional dynamic in the design that makes the different pieces look amazing together but also separately - from the elegantly simple to the more extravagant. The shades of blue throughout the pattern are also a tribute to Magnor's historical use of blue colors.
