Halvor Bakke drew inspiration for the design from his travels to South Africa. There he always visits the beautiful beaches at Clifton. From his deck chair, he has enjoyed watching the chalk-white beaches, refreshing waves from the South Sea, playful seals swimming and swaying palm trees in the background. The wave shapes, the colors, the contrasts and the jet set atmosphere have become the wonderful Clifton series. The series is equally at home outdoors on a sunny day or indoors in the rain, and the colors can be combined and mixed. Clifton consists of a 1.5 liter jug and drinking glasses in two sizes: 25 cl and 40 cl. The range is mouth-blown and handcrafted by professional glassblowers in a delightful optical fluted pattern. Clifton is sleek and shiny and gives a summer feeling all year round.
