Alba Antique Water Glass 30 cl Clear

679.00 kr

Beautiful water glass from Norwegian Magnor and the Alba Antique series, designed by talented designer Teresa Bergerud.

Teresa talks about the glass series:

I wanted to make beautiful, classic, generous and good glasses for a beautiful table, for everyday and for parties. The lines of the bell and stem are soft and shapely. This is the glass for those who care about aesthetics and like to surround themselves with beauty.

The sanding pattern on Alba Antique is an old pattern I found in Magnor's archives and which has been used on glass from Magnor and others in the past. It was fun to bring it out again.

A star under the foot makes the glass even more beautiful. Both when standing on the table and when lifted up.

The name Alba is mainly chosen after one of the main characters in Isabelle Allende's book The House of the Spirits and is one of the most beautiful names I know. The name means white, but can also mean dawn. Alba is also a city in Italy known for its wine production. So a beautiful name for a beautiful glass.

Cervera also has the sister of Alba Antique; Alba fina line - for those who prefer a slightly tighter line. Even though the sisters are different in style and appearance, they are very nice to display together.

Magnor Glassverk was founded in 1896. They are proud of their history, but are also keen to develop. Every year they launch two new collections. They collaborate with some of the best designers and artists today. They want to make products that create joy and excitement and are a delight for generations. All their glass and crystal products are made by hand, with great care and love by skilled artisans.
